Week 6

Wow, who could believe we are at the end of week 6 already.  I have been absent today as my son had a collision with another child so we spent a big proportion of the day at the dentist.  I am relieved to report that he is (fingers crossed) all fixed now.

On Tuesday's, we have been involved in the Perceptual Motor Programme which all the junior classes are taking part in.  Many children enter our classrooms today unready for formal learning.  The simplest things can be difficult such as having to sit still and listen, being unable to hold a pencil correctly, coping with multiple instructions at once, and on and on.  PMP works to develop childrens physical motor skills that provide the foundations necessary for success in their early school years.

Room 16 are enjoying the program me and we are hoping to continue the sessions next term.  Check out the photos of the great work they are doing.

Finally, today you should have received a notice about the clothes that are required to wear under the costumes in the production.  If you have any problems please let me know.

Below is what is required:

Girls - a plain black t-shirt and black leggings.

Boys – a plain black t-shirt and black trousers.
