We will be learning about space again this week. On Thursday we will combine with our Room 17 neighbours to construct a rocketship or an alien. You can bring some recycling items to make your item out of.
Some ideas to bring are:
milk or other bottle tops
smaller boxes
egg cartons
bubble wrap
straws
cellophane

Next we have some photos from when Mr Cashtastic visited. We learnt about the differences between needs and wants. Needs are such things as food, water and shelter and an example of wants are toys. He recommended we spend our money on our needs first and then wants if there is money left over. Good advice! He was really entertaining.
Looks like you are having great fun and doing wonderful learning in your new space. Keep up all the hard work and creativity when you do your construction tomorrow. I will have a hunt for some materials for you too.
